WHAT DOES BEING AN SMS SUBCOMMITTEE MEMBER INVOLVE?
SMS are looking for enthusiastic students to help us organise and promote premiere programs that equip students with the expertise and skills to thrive in their careers.
As a member of one of our six subcommittees, you will work collaboratively in a team of 4-6 students, mentored by one of our elected society Executives and experienced Co-Presidents!
We are recruiting students to assist with the following responsibilities:

Careers & Sponsorships
Tech

Our ideal subcommittee applicants are eager students who want to make a positive impact during their studies! No prior marketing experience is needed - we want to help you grow and develop, and embrace skills from all disciplines and interest areas. SMS subcommittee members should truly believe in SMS’s mission, contribute valuable skills, be willing to constantly learn, and champion our programs!
It is also expected that subcommittee members are organised, self-motivated and willing to balance personal commitments to stay up to date on SMS’ initiatives. In return, our subcommittee members gain hands-on marketing expertise, develop leadership qualities for life, and receive first access to careers and work experience opportunities offered to SMS by our generous sponsors. You’ll also join a family of like-minded students who support each other to achieve personal goals!
