The Sydney Marketing Society (SMS) is looking for determined, self-motivated students to be paired with marketing industry professionals in their field of interest.

You will form an invaluable one-on-one relationship with a mentor who will provide you with guidance and advice on any burning career questions you have!

Gain insight and skills relevant to the marketing world as well as networking opportunities through our mentoring program.
We’ve teamed up with professionals from a variety of marketing sectors such as FMCG, Media, Digital, Strategy, Research, and Technology to connect you to leaders from major companies!

PROGRAM DATES (subject to change):
Program Launch Event: Tuesday 5th September, 6-8pm
Closing Event: Tuesday 31st October, 6-8pm
NOTE: All students at the University of Sydney are welcome to apply, no matter what you’re studying!
Students who are accepted into the program will be required to pay a $10 administration fee for participation.

Join us for our exciting annual case competition as SMS x Deloitte Climate and Engineering Presents: Deloitte Case Competition at SMS, an ideal chance for you to dive into a captivating case competition and gain valuable insights into one of the leading Big Four firms!

Registrations for this form will close on 24 August, 11:59pm.

COMPETITION FORMAT:
1. INITIAL SUBMISSION: Teams will prepare a 7-9 minute recorded video presentation with a slide deck to answer the case questions.
2. SEMI-FINALS: Semi-finals will take place in person at USYD, with judges from Deloitte in attendance. Teams will prepare a 10-minute presentation followed by a Q&A from our judges, who will provide feedback.
3. FINALS: Teams selected to advance to the finals will head to Deloitte’s Head Office in Sydney’s CBD to present their final recommendations.
🏆 The winning team will score a sit-down catch-up with leading partners and consultants (with the potential of fast-tracking your vacationer/graduate application process) — a valuable opportunity to boost your career prospects and industry connections!
